Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get my flowers to you?
I require all bouquets be dropped off 1-3 days after your event in Warren, MI. I will reach out to you about a week before your event to schedule a drop off day/time.
I currently only accept local clients and do not accept shipped bouquets.
How do I book?
Fill out the contact form, and I will reach out to you to verify availability: https://dominishdesigns.com/pages/contact
Once we make sure your date is available, a $100 non-refundable retainer and signed contract will reserve your date. Final payment is due by your scheduled flower drop off.
Will my flowers look the same?
There is often a change of some sort when flowers go through the drying process. White flowers turn a shade of ivory/yellow/cream and tend to brown when pressed. Red flowers turn a dark burgundy. Pink flowers may fade. Colors will also fade over time as a natural part of the aging process.
For resin pieces, there also may be translucent spots in your petals. This is caused by bruising while the flowers were handled before, during, and after your event. These are common and we don't know they are there until resin is poured on the petals. We see this as an example of how loved your flowers were!
Please also note that all resin will amber/yellow over time and take on a "vintage" look. This is inevitable and happens with all resin.
My wedding passed already. Can you still preserve my flowers?
Air-dried bouquets can absolutely be preserved in resin still but cannot be pressed.
If you no longer have your bouquet, another option is getting a recreation done by a florist and preserving those flowers!
